  1. PHASE 01

    Design Research & Ideation

    The first phase of any project is the design research and ideation. Once the concept is set, ideas become visualized on paper. Hand sketching is the first translation from imagination to reality, emphasizing the importance of the human touch in the process.

  2. PHASE 02

    Scan-to-CAD

    The donor car is 3D-scanned to sub-millimeter accuracy. Our kit is designed directly from the scan — every flange, mounting boss, and bolt pattern derived from real geometry, not a guess.

  3. PHASE 03

    3D Volumes & Proportions

    High quality NURBS volumes are set in 3D. Proportions are balanced, lines become harmonious, and the feeling of the key sketches start to become real.

  4. PHASE 04

    Form Resolution

    Volumes are balanced, surface transitions are set, details are sculpted. The form takes on a new level of maturity, and panels become engineered to manufacture.

Crazy Rocket Garage is an automotive design studio operating out of Savannah, Georgia. We work at the intersection of digital and physical — design, CAD, 3D scanning, additive manufacturing, and traditional composite fabrication.

We take work that other shops won’t. One-off concepts, scan-to-CAD retrofits, full widebody programs, production-ready files. If you can dream it, we can build it.

    Project Aether

    A crazy EV concept car university project designed and built before the formation of CRG. Project Aether was a pressure cooker of innovation and sleepless nights where we truly lost our minds. That shared madness bonded our core team forever and ignited a relentless drive to challenge the automotive industry. Here, we learned how to make the impossible real.

    CAMAL Studio

    Designing Aether cross-pollinated our path with Alessandro Camorali, founder and director of CAMAL Studio in Turin, Italy. This serendipitous meeting was the real spark. In them, we saw seasoned experience; in us, young energy. The vision clicked instantly: to merge generations and create a breath of fresh air in the American market. CAMAL became our sister studio, providing deep credibility and mentorship for the next wave of designers.

    OUR TEAM

    CRG is far more than just its three co-founders. We are a tight-knit group of young, crazy individuals who do this purely because we love it.     Defining the Name

    We chose to bet on the automotive industry in one of its most challenging moments. We are CRAZY enough to take custom work to an elite level of quality. We are a ROCKET because starting from zero doesn't slow us down; it fuels us to move faster and smarter than traditional corporate workflows. And we are a GARAGE because we aren't a conventional studio built only on pretty drawings. We use modern technology across every phase to build things, bring them to the market, and realize your dreams.
